Green smoothie is the best start to the day. This green smoothie is a little different then the classic Plant Paradox green smoothie, because it contains ginger, instead of mint. Some people with GERD can’t tolerate mint and ginger is a better alternative.
I also added deseeded cucumber for anti-inflammatory benefits (omit in phase 1 and 2), flaxseed meal for extra healthy fats and fiber, and collagen for healthy joints, nails and hair.
I chose to sweeten the smoothie with allowed 1 tsp of raw honey a day, but you can substitute honey with other allowed sweetener of your choice like Stevia extract or pure Monk Fruit extract which I find as the best natural sugar alternative without any aftertaste.
Place all ingredients in a high-powdered blender or nutribullet and blend on high until smooth and fluffy, adding more water or ice cubes if desired.
